Anybody interested in travelling Asia next year?

There's an Air Asia sale on for flights between February 6th until June 20th 2012. I'm looking at booking a flight from Phuket, Thailand to Chang Mai, Thailand for three dollars right now. I think it's around a four hour flight as Phuket is in the southern peninsular part of Thailand and Chang Mai is Near the Northern border with Myanmar/Laos. That's less than a dollar an hour of flight! Get at it!

Eh... usually not cheap. But creativity can make it quite manageable. Once you're in that part of the world though... CHEAP.

As for Air Asia, watch out, it is a fucking hassle booking their flights if you do not have a credit card from Malaysia or Thailand or some shit. Expedia will have their shit some day, but I had nightmares trying to get some bloody cheap plane tickets last year.
 
My flight one way to Bangkok was like 560 taxes included.. but I was smart and booked like 7 months ahead of time :D. That's really not that bad.. considering last year my family had to pay 400 from Toronto to NYC and back.
I booked the flight though, stoked! Saved a WHOLE BUNCH of money on that purchase. And to the nort who said they lost at "Phucket" either you're a troll or a dumbass. It's pronounced "Poo-ket."
Forgive me if my sarcasm meter is broken.
 
haha I've heard it's one of the last places where asian culture has been isolated from western ways of life and truly able to flourish. watch out for bitches in g wagons and x6m's.
