So summer is coming round the corner and I'm trying to make a rail setup. I recently found out about mSnow and they seem pretty legit. They have a sale going on right now until April 7th for $2.99 a square ft. Has anybody heard of mSnow of used it before? I heard it works great just sucks to fall on. Any recommendations?

everybody knows what it is.

id say use it for just a drop in, but use fencing or turf for your landing so you dont cut your arms off on the iceskate like bristles

I use it for my summer setups, with construction fence ontop of it. I am looking into Msnow though.. if I have the money.

If I hadn't just gotten a new pair of skis I would be all over some of this! Only use it for a drop in though, it does not feel good to fall on it.

I would only use it up until the take off. You can barely turn on it. It also will shred you to pieces if you fall on it.

Msnow is very legit. I would take advantage of the sale. The advantages are that you don't have to use water on it and it will still be fast. You can also carve on it and set spins on it better than turf, construction fence, etc.

Barely turn on it? Have you ever skied on mSnow? mSnow is the only surface that actually allows you to set an edge and carve. You can't even get that from Snowflex.

my friend used it for his drop in cuz he got it free, you get plenty of speed, but i wasn't a fan of it overall

Def doesn't shred the bottom of your skis. I am 5 10 165 and it doesn't do anything to my skis. Plus I wouldn't care because my backyard skis are beat. I wear jeans and a long shirt, and it doesn't tear my skin up at all. Maybe exposed skin.

Hmm I like the sound of that, will it shred me to pieces if I like jump and fall onto it? What's the optimum way to get shred by this msnow

I don't know what that earlier guy was talking about, you CANNOT CARVE on msnow unless you want take rip all of the skin off of your face. It is fast, that's for sure, but you have very little directional control and if you fall on it with any decent amount of speed it'll shred any exposed skin. But iIf you can get it for cheap, I'd still get some and use it for a drop in. Just don't fall.

I wouldn't really consider that a carve, it was more of a smear than anything. Then again, my only experience with msnow was on a pool jump with the harder white version, so that probably added to the deadliness of carving
