I am making this thread to get some tips on shooting with the nikon d300s. i Have it all figured out for the most part. but some problems i have had is that i have gotten a lot of grainy footage when shooting in low light. i know my lens isn't helping that since its a f/3.5-5 but what are the best settings to use when shooting low light. also how do you manually change the shutter speed my canon was a lot easier to find and I'm having trouble finding it on this one? if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated!

you have a d300s, which body alone is somewhere around $1500, and you can't figure out it out.

-lower your iso for less grain

-don't have a nikon so can't specifically help with settings

in manual or shutter priority mode, if you're holding your camera like a normal person, just spin the wheel right beside where your thumb rests. it's pretty easy

it changes the shutter speed. i really hope you're just borrowing someone's d300s or something and you don't actually have your own

Why would you buy a D300s if you have no clue how to even change the shutter speed, let alone change the dial on the camera to shutter priority?

Hai guize I am looking to get artsy and I want a big professional kamera with a giant lens. I am looking at the D3X, any recommendationz?

ya the kit lens is good you can get relly close to things and make the background blurry it rocks !!!
