Anybody had ankle surgery?

Just had my first surgery and it was on the peroneal tendon in my ankle. I rolled it two years ago and heard a snap but thought nothing of it at the time. I could walk on it and it didn't hurt too bad but I guess I'd have a gimp ankle down the road if I didn't do anything about it.

Anyway I was just curious if anyone has had similar surgery, and how soon they are back to 100%.. I'm all strung out on Vicodin and I wanna read, share your story.

I broke my tib and fib along with partially tearing my peroneal. Had two surgeries over a year on my ankle. I was in a hard cast for 3 months after my 1st surgery. Wasn't back to 100% until about 6-7 months later. Had a 2nd surgery about 10 months after my break to get hardware removed, by then my tendon was all healed and I was only in a boot for a few more weeks after that.
