good luck man, the people at shu are very very materialistic/non skiers or adventurers. All anyone wants to do is go to bars and show off their new clothes.
I had an awesome time at SHU because i met alot of real cool kids. I am not saying it will suck for you, but if you love skiing SHU is not the school for you, trust me you will want to transfer if you dont meet a good group of kids
I basically stayed there too because of my major, Communications and Technology which is fucking AWESOME. The Media studies department there is insane man, the best bunch of professors ever. So I would suggest that. If not, good luck dude SHU is pretty much lame as fuck unless you do it right
I don't go to SHU but I live in South Norwalk and there are a lot of NS in the area to hock up with and ride. We will be riding urban once the snow fall.
ya, it resembles long island alot, but iv gotten with a good crowd. and the skiing,,,, i have a ski instructor job in NY for the weekends., so if the preps aint gonna ski, f'em
