Any1 Kendama??

Yo MATSON, I would highly suggest an Ozora over a TK16. The Ozoras tend to play very well out of the box and I have found the paint to wear better as well. The TKs tend to be VERY slippery out of the box making it hard for any sort of balance trick for beginners.
 
For sure. Everyday. Super fun when your waiting for something or just chillin not doing much.

although this seems to be a pretty common thought, in my experience the ozora I had was awful for the bird because the ring around the hole was pronounced a sharp edge, the paint was very hard so if it did shart chipping it all basically came off, but ozoras are balanced.

My favorite dama I've had is a TK16 Blue, can stick more tricks more easily on it and its a little heavier which I like and beginners will like (MATSON).
 
for yourself? i cant tell the difference because the description for both is the same
 
i would get a kendama usa premiere, because it has a reinforced handle so your not always having to slide the pieces back together after alot of use.
 
alright man, I'm no pro, I have both I like the TK better, just preference. thing about kendamas is they are made of wood, so they vary a lot. so as much as your analyzing which one you should get it really doesnt matter much. that being said I've heard TK's are better for beginners but as a beginner you will not be able to see the difference for a while so just pick a color you like and roll with it.

yeah ive owned one for about 2 years, but i never really got into it until this summer

i recomend the tk i had it in red and it was by far my favorite kendama but someones dog ruined it and i have the same one in blue and its almost just as good but the paint on the ball isnt as sticky
 
dude 4 or 5 years? you must be OG. sick tho, I wish I had to patience to get back seriously into it. just fun from time to time.
 
With the ball (tama) on the handle (ken), you should be able to pull the string down and fit two fingers under the bottom of the ken.
 
nation wide phenomenon started at my highschool, colin sander and zack yourd both graduated from here, /claim not that im trying to impress people its just actually true beats me on how it got sooo big, but it did. and wiz picked it up because his filmer (bill paladino) also graduated from my school in the same class as colin sander.

This is really awesome, the only person famous from my school is nobody BUT... the town next to mine is where Zach Galifianakis grew up and lived.
 
Just takes some practice man. It is very rare for someone to be able to pick it up and be good at it from the start. Just use your knees and bring it straight up!
