Any Tips for Making Your Own Skis?

So I'm pondering the idea of making a pair of skis for fun. Anyone familiar with making homemade skis? If so, do they work well, and how did you make them?

Yeah, I'm more just interested in making one pair for fun. Just looking for any tips on construction and stuff

I think that one is more aimed at a company than just pressing your own skis.

There is a ski builder forum somewhere on this site

Ive recently conceived the idea of sandwich core. In which you press loaves of bread until theyre stable enough to ski on. Its fully organic so will last you enough for a season before it decomposes (take that POW ambassadors that laughed in my face). Its also ultralight for long touring days and lastly a survival tool in case you get stranded out in the bc so you can just eat parts of the ski for delicious carbs. Core construction comes in white, multigrain or rye!

Huh, I think Gilson has some rad topsheet designs! But yeah topsheet art will def have to be crazy.

Gilson's park ski doesnt have 189, so it def isnt core. Every type 3 plus skiier knows topsheet doesnt matter if it isnt core
