Any skiing near washington DC ?

Just got a job offer there and before I sign, I was just wondering if there were any resorts within an hour or two. I know that area is pretty flat, but I figured I would check here. Thanks for any help

yeah there are a couple within an hour to an hour and a half. I skis at Wintergreen which is two hours south of you. It sucks, but hey, it is still skiing.

Theres snowshoe, but its not good. seven springs is good, timberline can be good too. drive to VT.
