If you are blind to the world of Reggae music, the Wailers were Bob Marleys backup band, and they now tour the world playing his hits.

My homie is interviewing them tomorrow night in South Africa. He is an intern in the music department of one of South Africa's biggest newspapers. He's looking for questions to ask them,

Post questions here, I'll forward them to him and post the interview once he publishes it.

When you were working with Bob Marley, did you ever imagine that Reggae would become such a significant influence on the world's music? From dub, to dubstep, to hip hop, to cali reggae... The list goes on and reggae is everywhere.

What album or single track did each of you enjoy working on most?

Recently some reggae/dancehall artists have been presenting hateful lyrics, particularly homophobic ones - do you think that these messages have a place in reggae music? Is this self-expression or hate in your opinion?

You're stranded on a desert island, but you were able to take an album, a person, and one other thing with you. What are they?

If you could offer one piece of advice to musicians around the world, what would it be?

Is it true that a 32 inch louse was found living in one of bob marley's dreadlocks upon his death?

How much weed is it physically possible to smoke before you are unable to stay awake or coherent?

Glad someone is taking this opportunity seriously, Just sent my buddy all these questions.

Keep em coming yo!

Do you regret not being able to sit down, put on an album you worked on, and hear it with fresh ears for the first time? David Gilmour said one of his greatest regrets writing Dark Side was that he wasn't able to be one of the people who sat down and listened to it all the way through and appreciate the album to its fullest because he had worked so extensively on it... Do you feel the same way about any of your music?

^ on that note, do you think music is truly universal or is it personal? I imagine as artists your music inevitably has different associations and brings back different memories for you than your audiences.

I will be beyond stoked if any of these get answered haha.

if you could do a colaboration with any other artist/band who would it be? what do you listen to nowadays?

I'm seeing them play at my school next week.

Not really that excited to see a 'Bob Marley cover band'

They're opening for Neon Trees and Taio Cruz lol.
