Hey guys was going to make this last year but never did. Im a sophmore/junior living in Dixon and just wanted to know if there were any other NSer's on here. I ride bear creek like 3-4 times and week and make trips to Blue and boulder often. If anyone's on here post up or hit me up so we can get together and shred...and i have a gorpro and am willing to film help make edits.
 
i know a new NSers who party regularly at KU but aren't enrolled. i live in Macungie aka 15mins away from KU hope to be seeing you up at bear this season!
 
Haha i believe i actually met you once last year...i know Molly because i used to work at the shop that sponsored her, your the same beans that had the purple jacket and rockered skis weren't you haha?
 
Haha yeah i rode there alot last year, i have on3p blue steele's, usually wearing blue pants and a brown/white xl spyder jacket or huge striped hoodie and black vest. I was actually a judge at all 3 of the showdown series comps last year.
 
yurp we have ridden a few times. how do you like your ON3P's i'm thinking about getting a pair once i get some cash flow.
 
Yeah bro love them just wished i would have ordered the 181s instead of the 171s because they ski so short with the reverse camber and outside the park they feel so small haha. Otherwise they are sick
 
My bro goes to ku, lives on noble. We both ski at blue, I live right at the bottom. Should check it, molly says shes gonna ride up here a bunch since andys the manager and things are looking to be on the up and up in the park.
 
Is he a member on here? tell him to hit me up when you guys are riding up there and i'll cruise up there because before college i had a pass at blue for 2 years and it is still my favorite place to ride locally.
 
guessing thats you forrest? haha. so hype for the season... seems like blue will be dope this year. hope bear gets a decent base down so they can build an actuall park earlier in the season. im hoping to get a pass to bear boulder and blue.

also whos down to hit ALOT of urban this winter? (assuming it actually snows) i got a gopro and am getting a banshee bungee,.. only thing is i dont have a car or a liscense so if anyone wants to tag team an urban assault lemme know!
 
gopro = no go for hitting handrails and crap at night. you need a shit ton of light to get a decent night shot out of the thing. bungee would open up a ton of options in philly... there's a perfect down rail in manayunk that's got some fresh paint it needs to lose.
 
Yeah its me molly haha, and yeah im def going to have a pass to bear, and probably going to get the 175 college pass that jfbb had last year which is also good on mount snow. Im going to see if i have enough for the blue one if not i'll just be buying day passes lol. I also have a gopro so im always down to film and thats sick you got a banshee bungee just gotta find some good spots.

Im mad hyped for the season and hope bear gets a good base down at the beginning so we can have another season like last...

 
amen to that on the gopro. I'm close to bear and I've got a pair of stand up halogen construction lights though. I'm hoping to pick up a small generator before this winter as my power goes out when the fuckin wind blows.

Molly I'm sure I'll see ya at BC this winter as I'm gonna do park crew again. Would be very interested in trying out that bungee.
 
I've got tons of lights I can put to use this winter doing urban if need be.

There's also a few really nice rails in Slatington that look like they need to be greased!

and yes, lehigh's got the goods, if you don't get booted. trust me, philly's untapped. perfect down rail across the street from my work with an inrun, lights, and runout; down rail in manayunk pretty close to kt's place with the perfect backdrop for the right trick, and another rail 5 minutes from my work that's like an 18" diameter parking garage guard rail type thing that you could easily tow into. bungee would only be needed for the manayunk rail, which we tried to hit last year by building a bobsled track around parked cars to keep speed, but failed.
 
LCCC is also rumored to have some nice rails. i checked out this 75ish ft down rail at parkland middle school a few days ago it looks very hitable.

And as for LCCC, it's like a gold mine for good urban; you should definitely drive in and check it out one day. And as for Parkland, are you talking about the rail on the hill down from the stadium to the high school?
 
I go out with a lot of my friends in Kutztown pretty regularly in the fall. Once Bear opens though I'm back to working to 6days/week but I'm always down to squeeze in some urban in my down time. hmu
 
Thats legit im also trying to work either park crew or lift attendant this year, because the ski shop i worked at closed down and i missed the job fair at BC last year...im making sure i'll be there this saturday haha

Does anyone know if there is going to be a KU snowboard/ski club this year? I was contacted by 2 different people last year saying that there was and nobody at the school seems to have any idea whats going on.
 
Yo, I know this is an old thread but the seasons comin up so I'll give it a shot. I'm a junior livin in the Cliffs. got a dslr to film with and access to KU's video-quality lighting. All we need is a genny and some shovels... tryin to make a film of all the spots around KU and do some shooting at BC and Boulder. If ya'll are still in town hit me up!
 
ahhh the Cliffs! I'm up in that area of KU usually every other weekend with my friend who lives in bonner. I'm still in Macungie, so I'm down for shooting! l.I should be at bear on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday pretty much all day.

ps: I found 4 features near William Allen High school to hit if and when the snow gets here.
 
Yeah Dude im still at KU, i live on sander alley right behind deturks hardware. Im on park crew at Bear, and there are always kids down to film. There are some really good young riders at bear, I know beans has a crew he's always riding with and im sure they would be down to film with you
 
living in bonner, l ride boulder just about every weekend and whenever i can get there midweek. down to film or whatever hmu
 
i go to school at villanova, but i ski blue/boulder and am gonna try and get out to bear this year. i am ALWAYS down for urban. weekends would be best. i have a car/am willing to travel an hour or so for a sick rail
