Any place to shelter 4 skiers around whistler in July?

So my friends and I (for a total of 4) are traveling around Canada from Quebec and it's not going to work out in another friend's condo. So now we are looking for a cheap place to sleep in the whistler area (we have cars so it doesn't have to be IN whistler) for a couple of weeks in July.
Any of you knows a way to do that? We really won't have a lot of money to spend and we really don't need a castle.

We might actually end up in the campgrounds, but we still want to check for other ways to make it. keep throwing tips at us!
 
exactly. We will have crossed canada slowly (we're planning on about 2 weeks for that) sleeping in our cars. We KNOW we can sleep in tents and in our cars, but this thread is about finding something else, if possible
 
what if we REALLY don't plan on having a job there? We will not be there everyday and will be travelling in the area or skiing.
 
one month? I got a house its pretty small how many cars? i have 2 parking passes we could rent you
