Any park skiing at niseko yet?

hey jappers,

heading over to niseko for work in a few days, but i got about a week before i start work and wanted to know if there is any park or rails up yet, seeing as there is not much snow fall yet, would they have any features up?

also, it worth doing the comps they hold during the year? never done comps but would be fun, unless there is like 3 people and its badly run.

Check out Snow Japan forums too. No park skiing yet. Heard there's not much snow going that way. What are you doing for a job and you planning on working there next year?

No park yet, only a few runs open right now, the snow isn't bad up there, but there is just not enough down low.

yeah i been here for a few days, and its been raining all day. should turn to snow soon though.

no park yet btw, too much pow. Park gets going around January apparently.

The pow is super sick at the moment for sure, there is a little park up over in Hanozono, flat box, trap box and shotgun down. Didn't hit it as I was teaching a class, but the trap box looked rubbish, whilst the down looked really pretty good. They were pushing the start of some jumps as well.
