Any one rides Northstar?

nothstar is actually good. most of the people go striaght into the small park. pinball has got tons of rails/boxes set up really nice. if you go over to moonshine their set up is so sick! huge jumps 8ft wide box and a good amped3 wall. their pipe is pretty good but alot of little kids go throught there so i usually end up skippin the pipe cause of them.

haha i like the mini pipe, it throws you crazy and theres all these beginner boarders in it but thats alright. then i like chilling in that burton learn to ride park, man that thing is funnnnnnnnn. Oh yeah, most beginners go UNDER the chair, not into pinball, so I don't know why everyone is complaining about the park being crowded. The chair may tend to get a line at times, but it isn't too bad. Maybe that first part before all the runs split its crowded. oh yeah 9th spohr, i'm jealous of you guys and your jerseys, don't you guys just ski behind and go through the skischool/whatever line? mannnn nonstop park hitting sounds niceeee

There too strict about the scholarship. Thats lame how you have to wait till august. And come on who has 1400$?
I forgot if i posted on this one already...
I've had a season pass to northstar since 1990, it has changed a lot. I remember when they dug the first half pipe on the gully, and stuck a big "No Skiers" sign in front of it. I still think the jumps suck, moonshine was alright last year, but the shape still isn't there, mammoth has spoiled me. And i'm not sure why they ever moved the park from Lookout (Pioneer) over to F chair (forest, vista). Sure the chair was slow, but nobody skis over there. I'm guessing it was for superpipe purposes and for the quad, but that's already a high concentration on the mountain.
As far as it being flat, it is, I ski most anywhere else half the time, but with 18 seasons exploring the star, i've found some pretty good stashes. Though if they decided to cut the rest of those runs on the backside, might be time to find a new home.
