Any one from London?

If you want to get into British beer then arrange a tour of the Fuller's Brewery. The tour is two hours and at the end is unlimited free beer tasting.

I went with a group of mates and we explained that we were really more interested in the free bar so the guide rushed us through the tour so we could tank up on free booze. You do actually learn about the beer and how to taste it etc...as well. If you bring a group you can get a discount too (we just called and asked).

Go to the Whitehorse in Parson Green too. Its got the best selection of beer in the UK (I think thats right, about 100 different types or something). Nice pub, nice location, great beer. If you wanted to make a day of it you could do the Fullers tour and then follow up with a pub crawl along the river towards Hammersmith/Fulham and then hit up the Whitehorse.

Definately go to the Freeze too.

Also, might be worth having a look at going to the Church. Its an all day drinks party/club. I haven't been since it moved to Clapham but assume its still a good day out.

Castleford is a 3.5 hour drive away for me, long arse way to drive on my jacks, still waiting on my boots any ways. Whats it like up there? is it bigger than Hemel

I was thinking about going up on Saturday but can't afford to drive on my own, need at least 1 preferably 2 people to split fuel money with! its an idea ATM if your interested i'm going up from west London, will probably go to hemmel the night before.

yo im headed down to London on friday and was wondering if there are any good ski stores or what not in London

you've got snow and rock etc but try out ski bartlett they've got a huge sale, line invaders at £49!! :)
www.skibartlett.com

I fucking hate Snow and Rock. The amount of times I've seen them trying to sell Full Tilts and park skis to 40-year-old beginner groomer cruisers, who are going on their second holiday to some tourist resort doesn't bare mentioning. They are literally only concerned about flogging their most expensive stuff, rather than actually matching the customer to their gear.

Couldn't agree more I fucking hate snow&rock they put me in a set of size 26 SPK's when I have a 25 narrow feet, fucked a trip to whistler had shin bang like a bitch got a pair of skis waxed there they came back with swarf in the wax! & while I'm ranting I took the custom liners out of the SPK's to sell them & one was longer than the other! they don't have a fucking clue

Ive got my boots sorted at last they didnt fit my skis so i got new skis and im at long last going hemel this friday! be good to see any one from NS up there come say hi i will have a level 1 jumper on.
