Hey i just moved to Ottawa and i have no one to ride with, i drive around and see sick urban everywhere with no fellow comrades to ride with, and riding alone specially urban i'snt much fun and kinda hard haha i used to ski out of MSLM just north of berrie, i ride 09 libertys phill larose purple pole black pull over jacket green snow pants white helmet. just a little about my gear. any one down to ride ???? i got a car and i got a bungee so id be really down get a crew together hit a lot of urban this winter around ottawa and the ski resorts make few little edits? any one down let me know

Fuck lansdowne it's all about archives. I may hit you up on this offer later in January when we get some serious snow.

and yeah i unno i just saw landsdown so i got out a took a pic i couldnt find the archive rail

but ill be back after x-mas and il be down to ride when ever

 
I just came back from Carleton urban, fuckin siiick. Going to be hitting alot more urban now that I have a banshee bungie. But yeah PM me and lets get some urban nailed out.
 
ive honestly never hit urban before because ive never had anyone to do it with. Id love to though so if anyone wants to help me pop my urban cherry drop me a pm haha.

that looks perfect for me, id definetly be down to hit that with someone this winter.

I have a pretty wicked C rail by my house but im just not sure if you can get enough speed for it. Ill get a pic soon hopefull and see what yall think.
 
chyeah, such a fun rail! natural speed as well, so no need for a drop in/bungee either. at archives, there's also another dfd, but between the down and the last flat the rail turns to the left. for that one you would need a bungee or a drop in
 
 
Thanks alot! I thought this was on Carleton campus, but far from it haha. Does anyone have any pictures of rails at Carleton? I keep hearing talks of a quad kink, but Im not sure where it is

Just made jump for quad kink at Carleton. You definitely need a bungie or ramp for speed though. Will be hitting it this week for sure
 
 
yea i realize that, at the top of the C rail theres a building too so speed for the whole thing would be basically impossible.

I was just thinking the end sraight of that rail, and the last 15 or 20 feet of that really long one.
 
Nope, just jump over them is our method so far. Just worried repercussions would be worse if security nailed us for skiing AND cutting the chains. Maybe we will cut them and just say they were cut when we got there. Does anyone know if the jump is still built? Its so far from res I havent had a chance to check.
 
yeah that's what we were thinking, someone cut the chains late one night and get rid of em, so they can't say that were tresspassing since there's no sign or anything..
 
The C rail has been difficult to get from close to the top. The posts on the other side stick out and can catch your skis, the jump angle is tough and you need to put the drop ramp right up against the building. The neighbors always call the police too so its something you'd need to do at first light.
 
Im realllyy tryna hit archives this year. Once there is a sufficient amount of snow im heading over there.
 
yeah definitely. Its going to be my first real urban so i wouldnt mind having some one whos already done it present lol
