Any NSers ride up at Canyons bike park?

Woke my ass up despite being still drunk from the Art of Flight premiere and hit the new Wild Mouse trail in the park... so f'ing sick. Only one more weekend left unfortunately, but would be cool to meet up with some dudes who like to throw down on the bike for a session. They have yet another feature under construction today that looks awesome, so I'm hoping to lap the hell out of it next weekend.

ive been riding there a lot this summer. ill probably go up tomorrow and next weekend.

Oh damn what happened? Get a little front heavy off something?

I'll be up there again tomorrow I think, but I've been dialing it back a bit knowing that ski season is just around the corner.

i have been too, kind of. that's the last place i expected to hurt myself, i aired deeper into the second wood feature on the new trail than i was trying, suspension loaded in the compression big time and i rocketed off.

Sucks about the collarbone! Clean break or surgery required? And hopefully I make it up next sat

Lapped it both yesterday and today from 10-noon... but between stories like this and EC's collarbone I'm realllllyyy backin off the intensity. They're open for 1 more weekend so I wanna get back up and hit it one last time for the summer next Sat and/or Sun. Did see some nasty crashes today though, all on Wild Mouse, and mostly in the new section they just opened up today. One girl hit the little up/down V shaped planks and just faceplanted into the wood, saw another guy hit the exit line out of that same woods section and sent it a little too far off the wooden drop and couldn't check his speed enough to make the right turn and went down in a big pile of dust, then saw a guy get too front heavy on the first double after the wall ride and endo'd straight into some debris on the side of the trail.

I rode Evil Empire from the top of DV down through PCMR a couple weeks ago and hit some of those drops and came within inches of smacking my c-bone right into a big tree.... maybe it's time to hibernate until ski season.
