Starting my first clinical rotations tomorrow and my first semester of nursing classes. Looking for some advice to help me get through

I'm in my junior year for nursing, stick through it, the first rotations are bullshit but medsurg, OR and ICU shit is awesome. Get a good base in anatomy, and learn the classes of pharmacology or it will come back and bite you in the ass. Basically study your ass off and make a base of knowledge that is pretty solid, so you can act out of intuition in the field.

And try not to vomit or pass out in clinical

first rotation vom may be in my future. i signed up for an old folks home. nothing i want to do more at 7 in the morning than wash some old guys dirty balls and smelly ass. i cant wait to get this semester out of the way so i can do medsurg, OR, and ICU. im in Anatomy 2 right now, pharm is next semester. so i have alot ahead of me. im hyped as shit for all of this though looking at the outcome! 27.50 an hour to start at my local hospital say whaaa

i know hot to sew up stitches and shit like that, my school makes me learn how to do this, im in high school

dude, i wish i had the motivation to do this. a friend of mine is a registered nurse/EMT.. works from home.. makes good money.

calls in to sign in or whatever, and he just goes to work if they have an ambulance call and they need him.. he does like a 36 and 24 hour on call shifts a week and lives a super chill life.

another friend of mine just does 7 on 4 off... and i'm sure she makes good money as well. only been qualified for 3 years.

good luck to you.

i like the way you think. all though it would be tough to start my own business, unless i decided to go pre-med and start a family practice. but i kinda wanna specialize as an anesthetist.
