i'm lookin to do some downhill racing this summer. any riders on here that know of any races and/or some good places to ride?

Hey drew, big sky is supposed to be pretty sick this year, i've heard rumors that Kona is dumping a bunch of money into their downhill trails and park in the next couple years. They have one downhill race, but i'd be willing to travel to idaho and canada to do some racing this summer. Silver Mtn has a big one i know, and a theres a ton in Alberta.

Big Sky needs a lot of money for their trails, because they kind of suck! Check out the Bitteroot race by Missoula, and Silver Mountain may or may not be doing Silveroxx again this year. I'm not sure on dates for either, though.

i just seen something on pinkbike about a race at silver mt. at the 12-14th of june. kind of short notice, but if we could get a few people round up i'd like to give it a shot. anybody no where i can get some more information for races? whens the race in bigsky/ missoula?

I can say with 99% certainty that there is not a race anytime soon at Silver. But if you come up here to ride sometime let me know and I can show you around.

im new to bozo and havent rode around here xcept at bigsky would ne body be down to ride and show me some trails im not super good or ne thing but enjoy hitn drops and can keep up

how about this, i work this weekend so next weekend i could come down from great falls and we could get some of us together for a ride maybe?

anybody know where a good day or two worth of trails is at? wanna make this trip for me worth it! i even got some good photog shit if we find somethin worth shooting pics for.

I'm new here too and just went to Borders and picked up a $12 map with area trails. It was worth it, there's def. sick XC riding all over the place. I've only been to Fairy Lake area, Cottonwood, and a couple of trails up in Hyalite so far. Shoot me a PM if you wanna go sometime, I'm not crazy good or anything but I like getting out there and having fun. .

Check out the riding off of Teton Pass. Its a super easy shuttle and all the trails are starting to dry out. The trails have good flow and a bunch of fun hits.

I'm living at lakeside on flathead lake this summer and i was hoping to get some information/ "directions" to some singletrack mountainbike trails in the vicinity. Last weekend I went up to the blacktail mountain ski resort with a friend and we just ended up riding the ski runs and super rocky atv trails close by. We had heard that there was some singletrack up there but we didnt come close to finding it....

i decided im goin up to bigsky friday if anyone's interested.

i was thinkin also maybe saturday but my moms got a float trip planned that she wants me on, so there would have to be some serious convincing. but i've never been up to bigsky before, so it would be highly appreciated if someone could show me all the sweet spots. might bring my little bro too. he's barely experienced, but isnt afraid to try. but if we want to go fast, i'll leave him home.

is anyone racing this weekend at the bigsky race? i'm goin up friday night or saturday morning and goin to practice(eat shit) all saturday then shred hard sunday in the dh. anyway the more people i know that r goin to be there can make a little party sat night and have fun people to rip with. also thought i should say that i went to helena today to ride and everything was all socked in but we decided to give the trail(mcdanold pass trail) a shot any way. i think mo'nature was on my side cuz i only caught about 9 rain drops the hole ride then immediately after we finished it started raining. what luck.
