Any London NSers out there?

I just got admitted to London Business School which is great for my job, bad for my skiing. I was wondering if there are any fridge skiers out there who have a little carpool community going or something like that.

I saw there were a couple fridges north west that were a short drive away. I don't know what the park there is worth but would love to see some edits if you guys have any!

I'm based in London when I'm not on the road. I take the train from Euston to Apsley and shred Hemel most weeks when I'm around and healthy!

I hope so too! OP you should hit me up when you get here though, Hemel is a super fun slope with a really good scene, tons of people to ride with!

Can I come too?

hey dude!

i'm in London but never hit the fridges.. (bad i know) happy to hang out though and show you the ropes. when are you coming over? where you staying?

You doing the MBA or MIMs? LBs will organise a number of ski trips (everyone will suck at skiing... drinking standard is respectable though). Not an LBS grad but was a ringer on their rugby team one year!

Anyway, I rarely hit the indoor stuff but occasionally go to Hemel when they've set rails up on Thursday or Friday. IMO, you should look at cheap flights out to Europe. I don't mean the big name resorts during the main season by any shot though. Ski areas near minor airports can work out quite reasonable... even Innsbruck can be done reasonably cheaply for a long weekend and places like Jasna in slovakia can be done for less than what you'll be paying for your accommodation in London (although the snow there sucked last weekend). Look at smaller, less famous places and maybe airbnb it. Or go ski the parks on glaciers one the tourists pack up for the season and prices drop.

Just noticed you're from France and probably know the deal with spring and summer park setups. Guessing you're starting in September? I might be looking for someone to car pool out to Hemel on Thursdays and Fridays for a few months in the run up to the new season. It's pretty easy to get to my office (SW9 6DE) from LBS so drop me a line if you're in town and looking to head out to Hemel (or, if we get really lucky with snow, some urban action in London).

PS I run a start-up and recruit from LBS so it might be interesting for us to grab a coffee sometime anyway.

Hey man, I'll be moving over late August most likely. Still haven't found a place to live yet but will probably be around paddington or regents park. PM me and maybe we can connect over fb or smt

What's your start up? I'll be in London sometime in the next month or so if you're trying to grab a drink
