Any lacrosse goalies on here??

im the varsity goalie for my high school and i am a junior and just got good.

does anyone on here have any good goalie stories because i fucking love goalie because i just randomly got good and when i get shot on in really intense games i get like crazzzy adrenaline rushes and then make crazy saves and then either run like crazy up field or make a crazy pass.

im attack. i dont think i could stand in a cage while people are whipping the ball at me. not to mention how little pads goalies have . i hit our golie in the neck on monday though haha.

our goalie forgot his neck guard thing on an away game. we were against our rival team and we always get into brawls when we play them. anyway long story short he gets nailed right in the throat when some kid took a shot. he was lucky he survived. out of the hospital the next day, he was fine.
 
well as a defender, i don't get how goalies do it. i hate taking shots to the legs

and the embarrassing part is that our goalie is like the smallest kid on the team, but hes pretty dirty, and he cried the other week because people we're making fun of him but he can take shots in goal like its nothing, haha. hes a little bitch, 90% of the time i can't stand him but he is pretty good
 
im a goalie, im in 8th grade though. I have a story though. So i play for a travel team in the summer and we went to Virginia for a tournament. Anyway, we were playing a team from long island. It was getting intnese, people laying eachother out. Then a brawl breaks out, i run up deck the shit out of some kid. I get ejected and yell shit at the long island parents yelling at us. As do about 6 other kids. It was the craziest sporting event i have been apart of
 
i play attack and nothing satisfies me more than cranking a shot and hitting the goalie in the legs, i know it's mean but it's really kinda fun
 
i play at Illinois state and i loe it i am not a goalie though i played attack for my 4 years in highschool and now i am a middie... but i could not imagine playing goalie recently i got hit by a shot on the ball of my ankle and i wanted to cry had a sweet limp for 2 days...
 
I play middie and my favorite feeling is when I just snipe a shots into the upper corners. I love when the goalie doesnt even move, like he didnt even see the shoot.
 
i dont mind as much when people score on me and they are good shots... but when someone fucking hits me from just winding up and just hits me dead on in the leg... i get pisseed
 
yea im in the same boat as you, junior playing varsity, just got good. haha i already got some big ass bruises and i havent had a real game yet. getting hit in the thigh sucks
 
I play midfield usually, but I sub out with the attack guys just to stay on the field most of the time.I grab a longpole on man down though.
You have to be a little bit crazy to be a goalie though.
