Any know of a imax style freeski movie

title pretty much states it. i just saw some imax surfing movie and was wondering if theres ever been one for freeskiing. wether i be a pure big mountain or have park and urban in it, i wanna hear if youve seen one

I don't think there are any true IMAX ski movies. You can't just turn a movie into an IMAX movie, movies that are in IMAX will usually be filmed on mostly on 70mm IMAX movies, mixed with some 35mm too. But i dunno if there has even been a ski movie made for 35mm...

I think the main issue with it is, simply the size of the cameras. Those things are HUGE

Willie Bogner's Ski to the Max is my favorite ski movie, Pink does some crazy shit in it.

im sure they could use one of those cameras filming out of a heli, but there just isnt a big enough market to make it worth it

oh i own this movie. epic ski chase seen down a bobsleigh track between some pink hot skier and 7 skiers dressed in black hahaha. I foud out later that one of the park skeirs in that movie is JP Auclair
