alright so currently my griffins are mounted -8 from center. I want to move them forward but not a crazy amount. how far forward would they need to be moved to clear the current mount point?

1cm is plenty but you probably won't notice a difference unless you move them significantly more than that.

i say go +8cm for a real change

icelantic pioneers, not sure it matters tho.

Well, that's not a ski that you're going to center mount or a freestyle influenced ski at all.

What are you hoping to do with them? It may make sense to sell them and buy something more inline with your aspirations. I imagine Icelantic has good resale value and would be easy to sell if in good condition and a common size?

1 cm is the min, going 2 or 3 cm forward will create a bigger difference. Further forward than that and you’re on the wrong ski.

I agree with the comments here. Here my $.02.

- Skis, especially directional ones, ski best are recommended. The ski was designed with the mount point to be where the ski turns and carves the best, and anything outside of +1 will make the ski feel really hooky and not turn right.

- That being said, +1 or +2 could be viable- but are you really skiing switch and landing switch enough to mount any further than that?

- Why not just sell the ski and get something meant to be skied more centered? It helps to have the right tool for the job. If your style of skiing is more centered, then get a ski that supports that style- and not something super directional like the pioneer.
