Any good edits with not-so-good skiing?

None of my friends and I are what would be considered "good" on this site, so it kinda sucks to see all these edits of kids throwing down huge shit and being so much worse, knowing that any edit we make will never be as good.

I love editing and would just like some inspiration from an edit that is entertaining and well-made but where kids aren't throwing ridiculous tricks left and right. Thanks a lot.
 
i think that the biggest part of having a sick edit isnt the huge tricks or the super tech tricks, i thinks its the editing and having a mini theme to it

/static/images/flash_video_placeholder.png skiing is actually pretty good, but by no means the best. it's all about vibes though. if your edit has good vibes, people will enjoy watching it
 
It's still pretty bad, I'm not a very good filmmaker, but I think it did a decent job of encompassing the vibe and energy that comes with a summer session.

 
YAH , well all my friends like my edits. Heres our go pro season edit. Its all our first year as skiers so no hate please! Got a new camera so won't have those shitty follows with a go pro anymore!

check out some older professional segments from closer to 2000.. definitely solid shit but a lot of the tricks will look easy nowadays.. especially rails. id be happy to suggest some segments for you if you want

 
thank god someone else noticed this. are they all really that young? also, did i miss the ns update which states that pink name no longer indicates female, but rather troll?
 
Ya watch dave crichton in forward, probably my favourite skiing segment ever but most of the tricks would be considered mediocre now.
 
One of the things that makes a good edit for me is good music, if its got shitty music then i may just watch a different one unless the rest of the edit is all good
 
this is such a fail of a post... sw 9 over chads is not not-so-good skiing, wilson first dub 10s, is not not-so-good skiing.
 
This thread made my day! I love watching edits from people who made them because they enjoy skiing not just to try and pick up a sponsor! (though nobody would complain if they did)

Thoroughly enjoyed these edits!
 
make it funny

when an edit is actually funny, the skiing doesnt need to be top notch for people to love it
 
A lot of the USC ski team edits don't have like ridiculously superb riding but they're still fun
