Any difference between old Full Tilt models and new FL3X models?

I have the full tilt descendant 6 (102 width), and I am considering getting the new K2 FL3X Method B&E. Will these be comparable? I read from this Newschoolers article, that they should be similar, but are they identical?

Thanks in advance!

Other than the new ones having a K2 logo and the old ones a FT they are exactly the same.

I see, thanks for the response. I did however look more into it yesterday, and ended with the impression that the B&E have a "pro" version of the intuition liner, and that it comes with a booster strap. Is this correct?

The current version in shops right now has the pro wrap liner and a cam buckle powerstrap. Next season we upgrade the strap to be our version of a booster strap.

If they are the same, except logo, does that mean that the Method, Method Pro and Method B&E are only different in terms of flex (100 on pro, and 90 on standard and b&e)? It seems like the liner and the booster strap still puts them apart.

Sorry I did not see you were comparing the Descendant 6 to the B&E which are different.

Basically what changes from Method up to Method B&E is the liner, powerstrap and tongue.

The base Method uses our classic tongue Intuition liner and velcro strap with a 90 flex tongue.

The Method Pro gets an Inution Wrap liner (not Pro Wrap) a velcro strap and a 100 flex tongue.

The Method B&E gets the best, an Intuition Pro wrap liner, the cam buckle powerstrap and we spec it with a 90 flex tongue as that's what Phil and Henrik ride.

Remember the flex can be changed on any model by switching the tongue so worry less about the flex you need and more about the features you want such as liner, do you prefer a tongue or wrap, and which powerstrap you prefer.

Amazing man, thank you. Really cool that I am able to speak to an actual K2 employee. I just won your give away for the Method B&E, that is why I am so curious about the boot. Sounds like it will be a good fit though!

Awesome!! Hope you are stoked on them and let me know if you have any fit questions when you get them.

Hi Tom,

Any news on tongue availability? I have been kinda following and think they're due soon-ish. Just wondering if my search skills are weak maybe, is there an unsearchable place on the k2 site I'm missing? Seeking revolution sz29.5 flex8/100.

Thanks!

I was talking to the west coast rep about this because I ordered some through him and as far I understand they aren't on the website because they don't have the K2 branded ones available yet only the FT ones. If you send customer service an email telling them what you're after they should get you sorted

Excellent! I'll give that a try thank you. I've been meaning to visit a local shop but have been working a lot.

Hi Tom, is the revolver team exactly the same as the first chair 120 was? Thinking of picking up a pair with end of season sales. Any reason to wait till next season?

Yeah revolver team is the old first chair 120. No changes next season other than graphics so grab that deal.
