Any cops on NS?

cops in my city are chill as fuck, when i got my license i got pulled over by the same cop twice and had to go to court with him and he let me get away with both speeding tickets, and one time i was boxin my friends car at like 3 in the mornin and an undercover rolled up, first thing he said to us was " you guys just smoked a fatty didnt you, all he did was make him call his dad and he came and picked us up and we just went home, the cops around here have better shit to do i guess

The only 2 experiences I've had with cops have been pretty annoying. I don't like the cops around here.

The first time, I decided to walk home from school because my mom forgot to get me, wasn't answering phone, and I live 5 seconds from school. I also only go part time, so I was done early. I went outside and walked up the main hill, 5 seconds later a cop with lights on, pulls up to the middle of the road and turn sideways, blocking all the traffic on this main road. He gets out of the car and asked me to walk over to him. So I walked up to him and he asked me my name, reason for being on the road, why I didn't have an adult with me. Blah blah blah. He then asks me to get in the car, I say to him "Why? I'm not breaking the law, I told you my story, you can call the school and ask, I'm registered and live 5 seconds from here. I just need to walk home." He replies "Shut up. You have no rights and know nothing about the law. I'm not going to waist time calling the school cause I know that you're bullshitting. Get in the car or you're resisting arrest." So I got in, 5 seconds later my mom picked me up from school. Really annoying.

The second time, I was downtown, walking with my mom when a cop walks up and asks me what I'm doing out of school. It was 12 o'clock. He then proceeds to try and get me to take off my hoodie and show him what I had beneath it, ask my mom to show him the inside of her purse, and to ask if I would join him in his car while he called the school and asked. I told him that he had no right to ask me, or my mom to do any of those things, and that I wouldn't get in the car because he has no right to make me, and we continued on our way.

wow, those are shitty experiences, this is why its so pathetic that police get so much power, since so many of them are retarded power tripping ass holes like those guys..

buttttt they do save lives. power tripping cops are shitty, but with every good thing there's something bad...

Except for kittens. Even the retarded ones are good.

I can for sure tell you that this is not true. I've got fucked by the cops because of someone on newschoolers who remained anonymous said the police. 900 dollar fine and blacklisted from my resort along with something on my record. So all you kids out there watch what you say. The pigs have made it to Newschoolers

my old health teacher was in the FBI for about 20 years. from the stories he told, it sounds like the coolest job ever

couldnt agree with this more. i live in downtown toronto where the police have much bigger issues to deal with than teenagers partying. when they break up our parties they dont really have the time, nor do they care to go around busting everyone for having a couple gs of weed or underage alcohol posession. the toronto police do in fact make the streets much safer. in smaller towns, such as my cottage, there is absolutely no crime so the police have nothing better to do than bust parties and shit, and in fact really serve no purpose other than to bust parties, so they really suck.

We need police in our country or it would be a fucking zoo/joke. That said our police force has been going in the wrong direction for too long. Need to go back to the oldschool sheriff style. Where the cops are legitimately there to help people and aren't going to hassle people for no reason. Where people aren't afraid to call on the cops for help.

The only things i've seen that would bring cops to nsers is ripoffs in the bst forum, people starting cp cults, and the connection with 4chan/b/. cops are most definately all over /b/ and when you dumbasses start suggesting people harass a 11 yr old on here, the links between /b/ and nsers are inevitable!

I almost wish that were the case around here, people seem to like to get the police involved whenever possible because they can't play adult and work things out on their own

another detroit thread maybe? the most inner city of detroit will most likely always stay hood. so we wont need to worry about that.

hate to say it, but when it comes to doing things "the good old fashioned way", it just doesn't work in police work. Else they'd be going around beating the irish, and black people. The problem is that people turn to the police for everything. Small argument? 911. Guy pissing you off? 911. No one can settle anything on their own anymore. And the govts are making stricter laws.

i've got a family member who is a cop in a bit city, and just looking at some of his equipment from when he started in the 80s....i wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of him. I'd rather take a taser than a wack from the wooden batons they used to carry.

And from my own experience, even working a simple security job....when it comes to rules, people are fucking stupid. I close a gate, and its clearly posted/i warn people that they cannot cross the gate. Come back 2 minutes later, and 6 people are trying to cross. I warn them, then 5 minutes later, they're doing it again. This time they get thrown out, and argue with us for 20 minutes, despite the fact that we were simply following our rules, and doing our jobs. If people had any sort of respect for authority/rules, we wouldn't have such problems.
