Any chance for a media job in whistler?

Ok so I'm thinking about moving to whistler this season. I graduated college this april in TV production, and I've been working at CBC Vancouver as a cameraman and editor since early june. I have great references, but not that much experience, and I do realize there are probably tons of kids in whistler trying to make it in the media industry.

But do I have any chance? I'll work in a restaurant if I have to, but if I can find a job in the domain that I love, it would be awesome.
 
If theres anything I learnt about living in Whistler, its that working in your field is x100 more competitive than Vancouver. Those that have the good jobs hold onto it. Thats why your cab drive will have his masters. That being said, i know nothing of the film industry so look into it.
 
Yeah I am definitely expecting to have a shitty job. It's just that if I even have the slightest chance of scoring a semi-related to my field job in Whistler, than why not
