This is not investing advice so don't listen to me lol... Coinbase posted a
blog back in July that a lot of people seem to have forgotten. So far 2 outof those 5 have been listed so I'm guessing ADA, XLM, and ZEC will likely be next. Every time a new coin is announced for coinbase it pumps like crazy so they're a decent bet imo.
If you're looking into riding some higher volume/highly speculative/cheaper coins maybe take a look at RVN, HYDRO, or SC.
RVN
has been coming up through the ranks the last few months. There's not many "whales" in the community right now since there was no pre-mine and it's backed almost entirely by displaced GPU miners. They've been making some progress on their asset tokenization lately so it's been seeing higher volume. The biggest threat they're facing right now is the potential development of an asic miner for their mining algorithm.
HYDRO
is kind of a shitcoin right now imo but it's cheap and it get's decent volume on some days so there's actual waves to ride at times. Tbh I'm not even sure what the hell they're trying to do... I know it involves hydrogen power and green technologies or some shit but their website is mostly technobable fluff and some linkdin mugshots.
SC or
Siacoin, is a decentralized cloud storage platform that has been going through some major drama lately and it's preeeeetttty juicy! Honestly there could be a whole sitcom written around it but it's super cheap and is regularly top 10 in daily volume.
