i ride about 75%park and im looking at getting one of these skis or maybe both i was wondering what the pros and cons are between the two

If you're willing to drop $700 on just the skis then get the antidogma - one of the best skis I've ridden in the park, so poppy and super low swing weight - this ski makes rail tricks easy.

Hey guys, as this Thread died and i dont want to create a whole new thread because i also have a deciding problem. Which is between the Antidogma and the Atomic Punx both from the 08/09 season. im 6'1 ( ~185cm) tall and about 130 lbs i ski 75% park 25%all mountain

i could get the antidogma in 178 and the punx in 173

right now im tending to the Antidogma cause its longer and amplid seems more legit than atomic

what do you guys think? i really need some good answers 'cause im gonna buy 'em tommorow

btw. i broke my skis last week thats why i need some new skis in the middle of the season- Rossignol sucks :)

Scott deserves the attention; they make great skis: i've been rocking my P4 since 2007 when it came out; they're still going strong!
i've had a binding ripped out because of a retarded shop tech, i've had delaminated tips from smashing uber hard on a box, i've had a 3inch long coreshot from a rusty nail, etc.
all repairs except putting in the binding inserts were done by myself, and i'm hardly an expert! but still the ski feels and handles like new!And i'm 99%certain that when this ski will eventually break or whatever; that same day i'll be in the shop to order a new pair!
++K to scott skis for making awesome planks !

I ski 75% park too and i was thinking about getting the antidogmas. But then i just looked up on the Amplid page and saw the Syntaxs. (they are a more al mountain ski as you probably already know) I got those with some FTFs on them. They are the nicest ski i have ever owned. period. I talked to the guy at amplid named Brian (he rides the antidogmas) and he says that if you ski outside the park a little the syntaxes are perfect because they have a slightly different design that allows them to "ski" better. He also said to mount the syntaxes at ski center (which is like 3 centimeters back form true center) and i was skeptical but when i put them on they feel the same as true center. Plus mounting them at ski center allows the ski to preform at its designed ability. so the syntaxes carve very well for a park/bigmountain ski.
So, sorry for this essay and sorry for telling you basically to get the syntaxes but they rock. Th eantidogmas are sick too. if you dont get the syntaxes hop on the antidogmas. The company is great and helpful and down to earth and the skis are amazing.

Ball them Amplids son. !!!peace

got Antidogmas today- super stocked

i got them in 178 for 379 € which are like 540 bucks or something like that. i got them center mounted.

cant ski them today or this week, because there is like no snow here in germany due to rain but next week some snow is forecasted.

i will give you all a review about how they perform when i at least skied them 2 times

peace

oooooo thread jacked. to the OP antidogmas are the shiz and if your willing to spend the money for them id say get them.

ok finally i went skiing the last two days with my new antidogmas what i can say till now is

1. they are very light weight and easy to spin with (f.e.was aiming for a little 3 and stomped a 5)

2. after 2 days of skiing i had a few topsheet cracks but not that bad

3. the abt (abuse base technology) feels a little akward at first when you hit some rails. it feels as it would slow you down a bit but its not that bad, you get used to it

4. the abt seems to work pretty good. i hit a lot of rails and boxes in the last two days and they also were heated by the sun. but i dont have any visible damage on my bases :D

5. i skied a few groomers too. this ski performed very well there also. due to the wider nose you can carve pretty good and if there is some pow you wont drown in it :D

6. something about stiffness. as everybody says the Antidogma is such a stiff ski it is not really. Ok the AD is not a Line Invader but you also can do butters and nollies and stuff. im pretty light (130 lbs) but i could easyly handle that ski.

-if you have the money and want support a small german ski factory -get some Amplids, even if T-Wall doesnt use them anymore :D

1st of all holy shit, you must be skinny as hell, 6'1 130? im 5'11" 178, and im definetly not fat.....anyways i would go with the anti-dogs, you'll definetly like the longer length(no homo) I ride 178's and i love em, and if you center mount them they'll fell shorter so definetly go with the anti-dogs if you have the $

hah exactly, before no one gave a shit, its amazing that one person can be such a good averitisment for a company

1.ya sorry im from germany and thought 1 lbs = 0.5 kg. ok i checked it via internetz and regognized that it is more. i converted my weight it and it said i do have 143 lbs. 2. i already got the antidogmas 3. i got them center mounted. 4. i got them in 178 5. why didnt you read through this thread? its not a long one

wow both skis that wallisch has ridden before. thats honestly pathetic. there is no way anybody was even remotely interested in scott skis until wallisch got on them

1st of all, scott makes a 193 cm ski. if you are super tall, that is almost your only option for a long park ski.

second of all, the dims of the p3s are very appealing. they are a super solid looking ski.
