ANT vs. 93 EHP

the ant has alot of camber for a big ski. it's softer then the 193 ehp and it has way more sidecut.
the ant is a big mountain resort ski. Eric himself said that the 193 is for filming in alaska and skiing true big mountain lines. it has very little sidecut. a long tapered tip and no camber. its a tank meant for going fast, staying stabile and dropping big cliffs. personally unless you have a sled, or have the budget for a ski for heli trips of cat skiing trips, go with the ant. or hold off and get next years 190 ehp. it has the same dimensions as this years 186 and will be a wicked resort pow ski.

ive heard the 93's are more manageable then the ants just because of their running surface, something like 163 or so

Pretty much what he said. Haven't ridden the EHP but I don't think it would be a fun ski except in pow at resorts. I ski the ANT pretty much everyday for the last 2 seasons and I think it's hardpack performance has to be way better than the EHP (doesn't it have an early rise tip? or just flat camber?). Plus you can get the ANT for like $350-400 new right now (08-09 is the same but has a way better graphic).

The EHP190 next year is same dims/tip as 186 just longer? Sweet, been looking at the 186 for a touring ski, but man it's hard to find and not cheap.

sorry to jack your thread but you said you already decided, ive been looking into getting next years vct, they seem like they would be good in powder but with the normal camber still be fun on groomers and such, they seem somewhat stiff i was wondering if anybody has them and if the tips tend to dive at all

I also have been looking into the vct for maybe 65%park 35% pow i know thats weird but im 157cm tall and 97lbs so would it be to beastly for me for park?
