im looking for a softer jib ski this year. I mostly ride rails, even if I get into jumps more this year I wont be hitting anything big, and i like them to be soft enough to butter around on... I was thinking maybe 09 invaders? im 5 6 but still growing, and i weigh like 125-130. these will be my all park ski as well.

at that weight u basically need a noodle.
invader would do the trick, older arv(since they made em a little bit stiffer aparently) if u want a little wider ski(dont be afraid to go wider!!)
k2 fujative as well would be an option that i think u would be happy with.

Yeah you'll probably like the invaders. But if you don't mind spending a little extra money the Afterbangs are supposed to be way better.

yeah, are there any other skis that would be good that arent made by line? I think i might go with invaders, cause like someone said theyre crazy cheap... are they durable though? ive heard mixed stuff about their durability...

ull be better off wit the anthems if u plan on beating them up and the iinvaders arnt as durable as anthem on of my friends snapped a pair buttering so idk but good urban ski an dirt cheap

ah thats no good... does the extra width/ weight of anthems really affect you on rails at all? and i found the invaders for like 180 haha so maybe ill still go with those

i actually have a pair of anthems and there really good on rails/box good pop and they are pretty light when sping an stuff on rails

except not literally... and really im kinda between sizes on the afterbangs plus less money is always better, especially when the invaders are dirt cheap. does anyone know how soft the invaders are compared to the afterbangs? is it about the same?

i got the invaders at the beggining of last year and i mus say that they are a very good park ski for a very good price, i am about the same height and weight as you and i found that i could butter with them pretty well and they had nice pop for urban rails and other jibs, yes they certainly arent the most durable skis out there but they willl last you 2 good seasons i would say

there fine on smaller jumps, i usually ski at pretty small mountains and the jumps arent that big there and they held up fine for me adn even when i occasionally went to the larger mountins they held up ok on some bigger kickers

Afterbangs. or last years Invaders if you wanna spend less money.I hear the Afterbangs are a lot poppier than the INvaders though. You can't really get much softer than those though. I guess the Reno Rockers by moment are pretty soft though too if you want something rockered.

Thalls? older ones are softer throughout, and 09s have great butter zone kinds of places right ahead and behind the binding. Get any of those over any Line ski. if you get an older one it may have been de-tuned, so get it tuned. Rockered park skis may butter, but so do skis like Thalls, and rockered skis are not poppy in park IMO.

bump, how do the flex of the townships and urbanpunxs compare to the line jib skis like invader and afterbangs? there has to be more good soft jib skis outside of line...

i would get the 170 surface watch life... pretty soft slightly wider for some stability but not to wide! REALLY light really soft and support a really cool company you can find those cheap!

All rumours here; but i might d are to suggest the armada Alpha 1 its rockered but not that stiff...Alpha 2 is rumoured to be rockered as well but softer....all rumours.....
