Another What Ski Size Thread

As you all know there are 1000+ what size threads but this is a big decision. I am getting the Armada Ar7(i think, If you think a different ski would be better PLEASE say) And the sizes are 161, 166, 171, 176 and 181. I weigh about 119+ lbs I am about 5ft 6in+ I ski park primarily, but i will ski all mtn occasionally and pow if/when it snows. I ski east coast usually and there i ski mostly rails. Although I do go out west sometimes and do ski some jumps.

I am also looking for bindings ieMarker Squire Schizo or plain Squire. I want to know info on both if possible.

166/171 depends if your growing/ if u like long or short skis

171, youll grow into it. Skiing the longer skis will make you a better all around skier too.

either 171 or 176. but considering your only 130 lbs I would probably consider the 171. what kind of skiing would you be doing mostly?

Good call. I'm 5'8" and have 174 skis and they're perfect. OP should buy 171's

I would go with either the 176 or the 181. I'm 5'10 and also a twig, I ski 182 atomic punx and they're great. It really depends on the ski though, if the ski is stiff then go with the 176 and if they're soft go with the 181. The length will give you more stability.

All of these are good answers! If I were you Id go with the 166 or maybe even 171 man! But it depends what type of skier you are as well!

line chronic. I was going to get the AR7 at first but then everyone on here convinced me to go with the chronic. So far so good!

I got 171 Armada AR7 with Marker Griffon Bindings (90 mm) Yet to be mounted. Ill update you on how i like them in a week. I'll be in Vail, Co and Keystone, CO see ya!
