Another what amp to buy thread

have around $700 usd to spend on an amp. been playing for around four years, rock, jazz basically.

was thinking line 6, fender, crate, or something along those lines.

any advice?

oh and around 150-200 watts at the highest. dont want something were i have to turn it up insanely loud to make it sound good.

A 5 watt tube amps sounds better than a 200 watt solid state and you don't have to turn it up loud to sound good. What kind of music do you play? What kind of guitar do you play? And what amps have you played specifically that you liked the sound and features of?
