When the topic of even remotely mainstream music comes up, you turn into captain save-a-teen. Thanks for your contributions, I speak for all of newschoolers when i say that you are the top dog when it comes to listing underground-ish rappers. this is literally the third thread in a row ive clicked on where you have preached "good hip hop," and in every thread it was unnecessary . Why cant you just be comforatable with what you listen to, instead of trying to validate yourself with self righteous claims to a message board full of tweens? fuck dude..everyones heard of those cats, your hipster cred's starting to fade.

 
the OP's post wasn't that bad at all...just listen to it as a song. don't worry about who's doing it. I liked the song and I consider myself a huge hip hop head, we wanna get self righteous about bands I'll top most of you...

so shut the fuck up. this is good. super cliche, stereotypical feel good hip hop. but that means that it sounds right. his getup looks fuckin ridiculous tho lol.
 
this is what i'm talking about. hip hop has changed from self expression to a watered down way to be cool. it's all about style, whos' wearing what, etc.
