Another stolen bike

Hey guys,
just had my bike ripped off from the U, can't tell you how stoked I am. If anyone could keep an eye out, it is a Rocky Mountain Reaper I and very distinguishable. It is a silver 16.5 inch frame and all black rims/wheels. There is probably only one other one in the state of UT considering there weren't a lot made last year and Infernohits happens to have it. This is a pretty good picture but slightly different than mine. Mine is a bit shinier, more like a chrome/silver than that frame and it also has all black pedals/handlebars/everything else.
If you see this bike please please please let me know because there is a very good chance it is mine. I am going to contact the rep and see how many were sold in UT, but I am guessing it is very few if anymore than mine and Infernohits'.Thanks so much guys!
 
Bummer dude, I'll definitely keep an eye out. Just wondering, did you lock it up and with what kind of lock? I had a bike stolen at the U earlier this year and had it locked up with a cheaper combo lock, now I roll with a big ass chain that locks with a key.
 
Yup, I always lock my bike, never leave it unattended. It was a pretty thick cable lock that would have taken some work to get cut with cutters. Stolen at about 6-7pm from the BUC building so it is likely that someone saw/heard something.
I hear ya though man. Luckily it was my commuter bike (still worth around $400) because I would never let my downhill bike out of my sight. So if anyone sees it, the chances of it being mine are very very high.

damn man getting shit stolen sucks, got my skis jacked last year and words couldnt describe how furious i was. im gona be out there in a couple weeks so if by chance i see it ill holla at you
 
Epic ending to this thread:
rudolph found the bike at a local 711. He took it back and I called the University cop I filed the report with. Apparently this kid has been caught there before and now they have evidence on him to really press charges. So anyone who had a bike stolen at the U....hopefully this will help get yours back. What a night. Thanks to all who were keeping an eye out.
