Im 5'10, 155 pds, and lookin at a pair of line anthems. thinkin about getting 178, but idk if that wud b to long. my current skis are 166 which feel a bit short. i ski mostly park, and im hopin this skis will last me through highschool. thaanks for the help

anything from 177-181 range man saying you want to last through high school i assume thats a couple years if not maybe all 4? you should def get between those common sizes nad for park mount closer to center which in the end wont seem that much longer from 166s just more length in the tail area. will help you progress as well. good luck with the hunt

my friend with anthems is 5 11 and 170 pounds and he rides 171 , he doesnt have a problem with them. just something to think about

"Don't fix it if it ain't broke (don't buy something completely different if you like what you've got)". i like how previous pairs ~169 ski, with a tight turning radius and fun for presses and fun for butters and stuff, so i bought 171s. truth be told, i wanted something bigger than that, but I didn't want to buy something that would be a completely different animal, you know? i wanted a go kart, not a school bus.

everyone on here wants everyone else to get long skis. it's true you'll do fine. but imo, i think there's a point where you gotta say hold up a sec... they sell three sizes, and i'm NOT a large guy...hmm... maybe i could get away with 178s, or maybe 171s would be more fun! esp. as you're probably not hucking 70+ ft. booters regularly and you're not a big guy.

/rant lol.

^go pull out a ruler and see how long 8 cm is.

it doesn't matter, but i would go for the 178s.

a longer way is better in every way, except for "whipping out spins".

if you want to whip out spins go get some revel 8 snow brades.

haha ya man i c what ur saying! but my skis now arent very flexy, so butters are hard to do. and yaa evry1 does say go big.
