get the white guy to where the arrow points. (on the first part, the guy is down by where the rocket landed - you cant see him - get the guy to smoke the hooka). look for clickables and stuff.

all i did was push the buttons a bunch of time s and this ladder randomly poped up

I beat the whole thing. On the one with the buttons and steam you have to set the Q dial to 50 and then press the ladder button.
