framing on the first shot wasn't great, it was also really shaky, 2nd shot was really overexposed, that first pov shot was great though, pointed a little bit to low, but still good I really think the pov shots were the best out of the whole edit, rarely see pov shots that good, went with the music well towards the end.
Overall I think it was a solid and good edit, I enjoyed it.What kind of tripod/stabilizer do you use? It looked pretty ''laggy'' sometimes.. If you want to keep making these edits you should definitely invest in a solid trip head (pm me if you need recommendations)
The editing worked out well with the music, great song btw, but you should have let the last shot roll out so we could see hes landing, that would make the end 10xtimes better in my opinion..
I'm just the skier and editor. I'm not sure what sort of tripod the Filmer was using, he just films all the comps and kindly gives out the footage for free. Do you think turning down the contrast on the over exposed shot would help. You're right about the last shot, kinda messed up in premiere pro and cut it a little early, may get around to changing it and re-uploading at some point.
seems to, but as you can see it gives it the flat look, which I personally am a huge fan of, but it'll look weird if the rest aren't like that. Also there's some parts of the snow that you just can't recover because they've been completely clipped.
It does look better with the contrast turned down, I may be getting more footage next week so I may put out an improved edit then using this feedback and some of the new footage.
