Another all park ski area for colorado!

he wants to "make it a big deal and make it one of those places that could host a big event like the Gravity Games" and yet is planning to invest "much less" than $5 mil? yeah right. it's not like the money's not there. the only way this will be successful is either season passes or super cheap lift tickets. kids don't want to have to buy tickets every time, especially ones who will go more than 3 times per week. this is why echo mt isn't as appealing. but it sounds like this place will be pretty big. about 8x the size of echo. i just hope they make the features well.

^ i dont think echo has season passes either, thats why some of us were thinking it would go under to

I bet the owner of echo changes his mind after a while about season passes. Unless he makes lift tickets 15-20 bucks, no one is going to pay 30-40 dollars everytime.

Just make season passes like 300 bucks, like the small mountains across US charge

remember though, a large percentage of that 15-20$ is going right back into the park, so the park will always, or should always, be changing/evolving for the better.

i wouldn't pay 15-20 a time either. I wouldn't spend 300 on a pass either. The max I would pay is $200 for a pass, that's refundable once I realize how shitty the park is.

I wouldn't ever pay even 200 dollars for a season pass. I paid 150 for a season pass to breckenridge, keystone, a basin, and 10 days at vail. The tickets would have to be super cheap for them to even be competitive. Even then, by the time it takes me to get to that place, I could practically get to summit county.

sweet, but i think echo is gonna be better and its closer to where i live, if the park is good im definatly gonna go there like every day after school.

and i heard that there is gonna be a ski area around greely which is right next to where i live.

yeah no shit

idealistically it sounds great but when i go for a day of skiing i want more than just a few jumps and rails, i want the option to groom it or trees or powder. but that is just me

yeah i like to ski a groomer or something for like 1 or 2 runs just to warm up kinda, but whatever, its fun to spend the whole day in the park too. mabye ill go there when its nice and sunny, and ill go to vail and shit for pow and stuff. plus its really close.

fuck you man....when i ski somewhere, i make it my home and go there alot, if i ski 70 some days, i dont wanna spend 20 bux a shot

that crazy is gonna use the old ass poma lift? i don't want the cable to like snap and cut me in half. christ.

's how they do it in europe half the time, seems to work well over there.

I wish I had the opportunity to live out there, I live in NY.

But I might be making a SLC trip this winter, which will be sickness to the max if it happens.

Bought it for the '05/'06 season, last season, around february or April I think. It came out to 150 bones, and I got 4 vouchers for $35 tickets to vail.

did you get this off of vail's site? or did you go to some vail event or some shit? you must share that is insane if true.

no u didnt, because i work their, and they dont and didnt offer that, you probably got an abasin/keystone pass, w/ vouchers, you didnt get the colorado pass tho

wow if you werent lying about how cheap your pass was id be askign how you got it but i used to get mine from the vail freestyle team for $200 unrestricted and thats the lowest ive ever heard of but if your right good job on finding one that cheap
