Like I've mentioned in previous threads I'm looking for a tour / resort pow ski. Looked at some suggestions and found some demo Line vision 108 skis with shift 13's for $900. The issue is they're 189cm, I'm 6'0" 145 ish lbs so I'm curious if these are an option for touring / pow or if they're too long.

What size are you rocking now? I think those would be good size for pow/touring, I am 6’ ~180ish and use J Skis The Friend in 189 for a pow ski. I was extremely close to getting 183 because I was skeptical of the length but very glad I didn’t because they feel great in the bigger size.

Currently I’m on some faction prodigy 2.0s size 177

My touring skis are Rossignol super 7s (116 underfoot) with shift 13s in the 188 length and i'm 5'9/5'10. They are a taller than me but I've gotten used to the length and I actually really like how stable they feel. Sure they are heavy but since i'm touring in southern BC it makes a world of difference. I really like the float I get when skinning up in 30-50cm fresh snow, as well as the surfy feel on the way down. I used to prefer shorter skis but now I only ride skis as tall or taller than me. Took a couple days to get used to it but I don't think I can go back to shorter skis than 180 cm
