Anon Perceive vs Oakley Prizm Clarity/Contrast

I’ve been looking at these two and both fit nicely. I know the feature of each, etc., but I can’t tell which lens is better on clarity and contrast.

I’ve read about opinions on Sonar vs Prizm, but have heard much about the new anon lens and how it compares.

Unfortunately from where I live, I can’t try them on snow to see how the work for my eyes. So, I am just gathering some opinions.

For what it’s worth I’ll be buying a couple lens for whichever pair I purchase. Probably M4 or the Flight Decks. I have an Anon helmet and both fit nicely.

Prizm is the best. Just went to a clinic for this and they brought out a fucking spectrometer to prove it. Oakley filters alll wavelengths of light except for blue and orange which are the highest contrasting, so they show the most detail especially on flat/stormy days. Everyone else (Chromapop, Vivid, Perceive), just boosts EVERY wavelength. So color is improved, but contrast is not.

Dude the Oakley clinics are so cool. I've watched them drop an iron rod onto a lens to show how it will protect your eye. Other brands shatter, but the Oakley lens deformed around it. The lens was destroyed, but your eye would've been okay. The Prizm tech demo is really cool too. Years ago, they also had this machine that showed the UV damage on your face. Really cool stuff they're doing over there.

That’s sweet. Did they have Perceive lens to look through side by side?

They had one from every company. Chromapop, Vivid, Perceive, even stuff from smaller companies like Zeal and Spy. It was dope.

That’s awesome. Wish I could see for myself. Which lens colors did you like? Everybody seems to like the pink. What about for sunny days?

it doesn’t seem like it’s hard to change the lens quickly.

I ride the HI Pink for like 90% of my days if I’m not shooting. Most of the time I just have my sunglasses on. If it’s really sunny or I’m back home in Geneva I wear the Torch or Sapphire. I’m really trying to get a pair of the new Prizm Clear lens for night skiing, they’re sick.
