Android Or Apple? THE FIGHT IS ON!

So. since all my other threads have been deleted, this is number one. I need to choose a new phone soon, and my Dad said i could have an apple or an android. Personally, I choose the android. But what do you guys think? whats your favourite phone? comment below.

 
android all day. i've never had an iphone but was talking to a buddy on canada day who just made the switch to a new android and said it's sooooo much better. i love the google OS too. never had any problems with the thing, and like that it isnt all big goofy apple bouncie colorful icons and shit.
 
well i hate my thunderbolt, it has just so many problems and it force closes it randomly shuts down and it gets viruses, i dont even care next time i am going iPhone.
 
ive had a droid increadable 1 and 2 both blow, constant errors, glitches sending texts to wrong people, screan going black for no reason, its sooo slow the iphone 4 not even the s puts its so shit, cant make a call unless theres a few bars of service, so slow with 3g and full service i cant watch a gif whel the iphone next to me cruses through everything, its crazy to me how peoeple would get a droid over a iphone my next will def be apple, i forgot to mention the constant lag i cant deal with anymore
 
For the record, it was the same one over and over, until I found out ElGato kept deleting it. and apparently, i am supposed to start out with soething controversial. so either this, or abortion.

chrome ≠ android operating system. The "browser" in droid crashed about every 10 minutes for me. so did many other apps. Horribly built when I ran it
 
I prefer pc's to apple but I'm a fan of the iPhone. I had a droid and replaced it with an iPhone. My needs as far as phones go are pretty simple and the iPhone works flawlessly for that,
 
download chrome beta for android. so much better and will replace stock browser on android 4.1
 
im sure that you have 2 friends and one has an iphone, the other the droid. go ask them if you can play with them for a bit and make the decision on your own.
 
Android is very customizable. I'd go for an android if my blackberry ever breaks.

Hell they should give everybody who is still a blackberry customer one for free for staying with them through hard times. would be a great deal.
 
Blackberries were very revolutionary in the past couple years.. Not the last two years though. We'll see what happens in 6-7 months..

get a droid. i have no reason for this advice other than I have a droid, and people always recommend or stand up for what they have. iphone are probably better.
 
every person I know who made the switch from an android to the iphone was happy with the choice. google chrome is dank though. however, apple>everything
 
This thread is funny.

Comparing Iphone to Android phone is bad because there are so many android phones.

I got an android phone that at the time was in the higher/middle of phones. I FUCKING HATED THE THING. It froze all the time, text messages would randomly get deleted. I would try to answer a call and it would freeze. Sometimes all of my apps would just disappear. So many issues. But, I have seen people who have the highest of high end android phones and they love them. That's great for them.

Iphones are for people who just want something that works. All the apps go through a screening process. It updates and syncs easy. There isn't much too it.

Androids are for people who want to customize the shit out of it and don't mind some things not always working. The low end android phones are generally miserable.

I will be the first to say though, that the new Windows OS is quite beautiful. I am absolutely a mac user when it comes to computers and prefer the Iphone to any of the Android phones, but goddamn they did some great work with the UI. I just still hate IE9 and it uses Bing rather than Google... which I also don't care for. But the UI is beautiful.
 
I just got an iphone for my birthday last month, and i love it. I do hate safari, so i use chrome. But its so simple to use. The display looks great. The only complaint i have is battery life, mine seems to be so short. I've never had android, but my friends who do have it wish they had iphone. There's my two cents.
 
Had a droid incredible for a year and hated it, I had the iPhone for for over a year and love every second of it. Granted I am a huge apple fan boy. But the big thing for me was battery life the droid only lasted half a day without playing music from it. I use my phone. A LOT during te day and having to charge it just sucked.
 
My mom went to google io and she got the new nexus with android jelly bean for free and gave it to me because she has a 4s. So far i LOVE IT. Way better then ios! Super smooth touch, really good camera, fast processing, and a really crisp screen. Google did a great job
 
Android: Good if you want to be an elitist and brag about how many kitty pictures you can fit on your l33t, hacked hard drive, and your super-ultra customizability, which you have not explored further than your background picture.

iPhone. Do-it-all phone that will not fuck up and does all the same shit as the Android, albeit .004 seconds slower, because the Android user was uber 1337 and managed to ZOMG OVERCLOCK his processor.
