Andri Ragettli is the greatest skier alive. You could even say he's the Nick Goepper of our generation. He is not just another manufactured comp jock, he is a complete artist. He is not someone that is being controlled by competition schedules. Andri is singlehandedly one of the most innovative and unique skiers of this decade.
He is a freestyle genius, his tricks are experimental, innovative, unique, he isn't afraid to experiment, he is constantly evolving and changing his style. Mr. Ragettli, from the beginning, has always pushed boundaries and has continued to make progressive feats that others could only hope to imitate.
His legs are an instrument. He wants you to look beyond just the stomps. They are there just to complement the afterbang, they are an application of the style as an instrument rather than a medium for competition scoring and podium wins. His style and his tricks are something that no one else is doing. Mr. Ragettli obviously isn't a Henrick/AHall type of skier with outstanding corking ability but he still manages to make better tricks than them.
His trick, Quad cork 18, is an extremely introspective and personal record. It allows you to better understand the perspective and emotions of Andrew Williams Ragettli. The trick has become a bridge for white youth to enjoy the style of the freestyle inner scene and empathize with the likes of Ragettli and that is what is so wonderful about him. We are able to see who he really is and understand him.
There was no Andri Ragettli beforeAndri Ragettli. He is not emulating anyone, he isn't trying to be anyone. He has no influences. When his gymnastic course video came out of nowhere, everyone loved it because nothing looked like it.
He has accomplished so much at such a young age, can you imagine what his skiing is going to look like in 5 years?
