Andreas Hatveit Wins KOS

Yeah that was such a sick double mute. But not gonna lie...I like sammy's doubles the most. But congrats Andreas!

Meh, I'd rather Phil Casabon had won. Would have been nice to see style over magnitude of rotations prevail for once.

But yeah, his dub was good nonetheless

Superstoked for B-Dog... no double cork but he takes 2nd anyway with his sick switch ten double japan... impressed

Yea, phil's was sick, but Adreas had just as much style plus a more technical trick.

Sick stuff all around.

im really stoked to see B-Dog in 2nd cause that means that they still somewhat base the judging on style. nice work doodz.

Anyone else think Sammy got a bit ripped of by the judges (or at least one of them, according to the commentators) on his last trick?

i thought sammy got ripped the last trick

and lj was killin me i was pullin for him

but andreas killed it

Yeah indeed, the last trick that sammy did was very smooth almost perfect... Dont get it, I also expected T-wall to get more points for gis switch ten...

^ dude STFU

You are instigating friction right now, keep that shit OUT of Newschoolers.

Is that even a surpirse with the level of progression amoung younger skiers in the past year alone? Simon has never been amazing at Dub Corks, and Im sure he knows better than anyone where he stands with todays talent.

Just please dont even start shit, Im tired of reading about it on this forum.

such a sick contest! really stoked for bdog who got second without doing doubles! andreas also killed it as always !! prob

I think Jon needs to get over his double safety. Really, it´s the least steezy thing ever, so naturally, he won't reach up there. The safety to japan would probably scored well though, if he'd sticked it. No hate, love the guy and what he does for our sport.

i know, love the man, but we've been watching the same double safety since 2007. we want something new, maybe a backflip?

It's just that I think the are many skiers that deserve a spot in those kind of competition more than Simon does...

He's in just because of his name..

Now I do believe he's still one of the top contester in halfpipe..

the list is like this:

1. ANDREAS HÅTVEIT, 286

2. Phil Casabon, 283

3. Sammy Carlson, 280

4. Pekka Hyysalo, 272

5. Jon Olsson, 270

6. Elias Ambühl, 262

7. Simon Dumont, 254

8. Patrick Hollaus, 252

9. Tom Wallisch, 240

10. Simon Ericsson, 201

11. LJ Strenio, 160

12. Jacob Wester, 134

Couldn't agree more. The last judge gave him an 84 on his last jump. That same judge gave Hatveit a 92 on his last jump. Both did dub 10s with their own style, both stomped to perfection. However I find it incredibly odd that there is THAT big of a discrepancy between Sammy and Andreas run, 8 points is a lot. Something seems very off to me. Someones got a grudge.

Where can I watch the footage, Im guessing it will be up on JOVB soon but I missed the live broadcast and was wondering if I could watch replay of finals or something. Says something on the Peak Performace website but its not up yet, although Im guessing its just finnished
