Anchoring pvc pipe to the ground

I recently came across a 16 foot long pvc pipe that is about 8 inches in diameter. I was wondering how you guys keep it from rolling around during use. i thought of putting some bricks inside it.

Any other suggestions?

just screw a few 2x4 peices to the bottom, then if you want you can screw a few wedges inbetween the pipe and the 2x4's
