yea but an asteroid that is big hitting the ocean will still have destructive effects. Tsunami's and earthquakes etc.

Theres not a very good chance of it hitting us, and if it did, what would happen, I mean the dinosaurs died when a meteor hit, but were way smarter than them. worst case we have nuclear winter, and whos complaining then?
 
i think i read it was about 1 in 50,000.....so i wouldnt worry to much... haha but than i also heard 7 years years after it is going to come back again and only be 1 and 16,000 either way thats really terrible odds
 
Eh who cares, if human life ceases to exist, like really, whats the big deal? I mean yea we would all be dead (even though it won't happen), but time would still go on. The universe wouldn't end. Oooh philosophical arguments

some of us wont even be alive then (knock on wood) so why not just live life. its good though that people are looking out for shit like this. i dont think it will hitt. but if u think about it. didnt the dinosaurs die from a asteroid. that means that if a big as rock hit us we would probebly be fucked
 
well, see you guys later, i'm gonna go build an underground bunker im my backyard. i think i should be done by 2035, just in time to fill it up with food for the next ten years.
