Amplifier plus grado igi inear?

Does anyone know about these grado's and the amplifier?

does the amplifier really make that big of a difference?

And does anyone have any other recommendations for earbuds that are cheaper. For the love of god, I am not going back to getting shocked in the ear with my old ones.

You don't need an amplifier for earbuds. You need an amplifier for high impedance headphones.

Grado makes the best over ear headphones for under $100 so I'd imagine their earbuds are quality. I've heard good things about Ultimate Ears as well, but I don't personally use earbuds so do some research as well.

How high quality is your music collection? That makes just as much of a difference as the quality of your headphones.
