Americans cant party.

i friend of mine was in the US for about 1 year said you guy cant party. no hate just saying, and btw russetiden is over tomorrow ( one of the words best party festivals in the world )
 
I'm not hating on you at all for this, but I must ask:
Why are you posting this? Have you ever actually been to America? Or are you just basically going by what your friend said..?

haha its true, i was there for a while and most of them are light.

australians, norwegians, and kiwis are the only groups i have met that are on the top level

 
no, no big difference, drinking can bee like 10 friend and doing stuoid stuff, but a party is like 50 ++ people just dancing like fuck and just taking off.
 
just cuz we don't put on funky git ups and go out to disco tecs till 5 am every day doesn't mean we suck at partying. it's just different here. cops are gay. drinking age is gay. booz is cheap, take that.

I'd rather sit back and enjoy a couple cold 40oz's with my friends any day.
 
america was founded by puritans who thought that ENGLAND in the MIDDLE AGES was NOT STRICT ENOUGH.

stands to reason that they wouldn't be fans of partying.
 
not necessarily true, and Canada was full of those same people, and a bunch of jesuit frenchies, I don't know what is worse. Look at the demographics of any colony or settlement outside of New England and you will find yourself totally wrong. And by the time the American revolution came around, Puritanism was not as dominant in New England as it was a hundred years ealier. It was steadily phased out as people began reaping the rewards of shipbuilding and land speculation. colonial america is my focus in school, just wrote a 30 page paper on it.
 
I wouldn't say they can't party, it's just a different way of doing it. Personally, what I've found is they drink a lot, play drinking games almost every fucking time, grind/have sex on the dance floor, sometimes do a bunch of drugs, and then pass out at like 1ish am....mmm, not my favorite kind of partying if u ask me. but I could be stuck in the wrong place.

 
umm. i have to disagree with that statement... no WAY you can say that they smoke "alot" compaired to canadians.
 
this is true, but the same goes for drinking and partying. does it not? not everywhere in the world is going to be a huge party, but everywhere does have its places..
 
no he won't. colorado has the same boring ass binge drinking in a crowded room as every other state. I believe the thread creator is talking about parties. not keggers, or sitting in a living room drinking keystone light.
 
because you make money off the 21+ crowd...the younger ones don't spend near as much money, and just get hammered and cause shit
 
thats cause you've never been to new orleans or any of the hundred cities. i can name mad off the top of my head that go hard. even random places like mobile al party hard. now just imagine 50 states. even bumfuck states have bumfuck division colleges that party hard. so fuck you and canada.

That's my impression too, from personal experience. Parties are simply a get-together to just play drinking games, smoke weed, and pass out (pretty early compared to what i'm used to). It might just be the stupid high school parties i've been to thats giving me the wrong impression.

The worst part is the ones who walks around at parties acting like they're high off their ass and too drunk to stand up, even though all they had was some left overs from beer pong that they found on the counter. Then they brag about how messed up they were the next day, even though pretty much everyone knew they were faking it.

I guess college is way better than high school..
