American TV is Racist

This is not a joke, but a real question.
Why do they show naked tribal black women naked on the discovery channel and other networks, but naked white women are always blurred out on public television. My roomate just brought this up to me, so I figured I would make a thread.

Discovery channel has the right to do as it pleases when they are filming a tribal show, I'm sure thats permitted as it is the way of life.

Obviously public television can't show it, they wouldn't be allowed to show anyone naked....

I wouldn't say racist but more about a feeling of superiority over the rest of the world (>implying 3rd world countries). They're showing americans how these people live by disregarding them as people and making them out to be another species. By exposing them in their own social norms or something. Or maybe that's just how i see it.

as long as its cabel they can show whatever they like. On public television they will blurr it out. Discovery and history can show whatever they like. They just don't have shows involving naked tribal white people.
