American Police Force in Hardin Montana.......Martial Law?

Basically American Police Force (a private company) impersonated police calling themselves Hardin Police (a town that doesn't have a police station) in Montana

APF is in charge of a prison built in 2007 worth $27 million, but never was built to Montana code. (if you sink that much money into a facility you'd think that the plan were to code before it was built. The main reason is the square footage to prisoner ratio)

Founder of the APF is Micheal Hilton. Hilton has an extensive criminal record including 14 felonies (10 counts of theft) various criminal, civil and bankruptcy cases, and has served 2 years in California.

APF's own website claims the US military is their biggest client. And their spokeswoman admitted they have a parent company (DPS / Blackwater) and the founder said APF will patrol the streets of Hardin.

Who the hell determined APF qualified for these duties? Buy off the right people to give shady companies like this deals.....

Fake / Privatized police force in America? WTF is going on in our country.

Privatized police operating from a base/prison on a reservation....a territory..... like Guantanamo Bay....which gives them the POTENTIAL to do some shaaady shit to American Citizens

Step toward martial laws wont be huge, they're small. Fight them early.

I would give you the "kooks" and "conspiracy theorists" websites who broke the story first (Sunday) but here are some more websites that you'll believe more.

sorry the prison is two years old,

APF started in February

flash_video_placeholder.png

yeah, the shit that went down a Guantanamo is far more lenient than a lot of violent criminals deserve.

thats the wrong attitude to have

of course they arent going to start in a big city like NY.

Hardin is a very poor area, buy off a few politicians because they need the money.

institute private police

get Americans use the idea of private police and get them thinking they have out best interests in mind, or well thats in Montana it will never happen here....

its a baby step but it should piss you off whether you live there or not.

private police forces that claim to have authority over American citizens who have a base/prison on a reservation you jackass?

private police forces ran by a serbian lunatic guilty of 14 felonies you jackass?

it has nothing to do with the people of Hardin, its about establishing the precedent.

If you dont want it in your town you should care about it happening in Hardin no matter how small it is

Did anyone actually read the article? They're not trying to establish private police in Hardin. They're using the prison for training.

if forget which link it is, but it quotes captain whoever (the founder of APF) saying they will police the streets of Hardin.

And if they only wanted to use it for training why roll up in vehicles claiming to be Hardin police?

Impersonating an officer is highly illegal

I think its crazy that the REAL authorities havent stopped these fools. Just having that name as a company should be stopped! WTF is the sherrif doing?

Kinda looks like they are setting up an internment camp.

Calling it an act of good faith is a PR spin after the fact.

The fact is those actions are illegal. Whats the PR spin for saying they will patrol the streets? Good faith too?

He is a 14 time convicted felon with 12-17 known aliases how on earth can people take impersonating police as an act of good faith.

It might interest you to know he posed as a

arts dealer,

cook,

restaurant owner,

land developer,

loan broker

car salesman

many others

were those all acts of good faith?

Let me put it this way, would you want this scammer in your town with any sort of power/authority?

I would not

Blackwater has been around for a long time. with out sounding like a conspiarcy theorist they did some under the table deals with Cheney that gave them a big contract to be "security" in Baghdad and used to patrol the streets with US soldiers. i think they got thrown out after they killed some Iraqi citizens. but they have been around even longer than that.

nah they are still fucking shit up there. and i mean that in a bad way, not a good way. if i remember correctly blackwater are the ones responsible for getting a shitload of soldiers electrocuted for shoddy work over there.

would you agree that its usually a good idea to read from a few different sources to get a broader picture?

There is no possible way to defend this guy, his company, or what their plans are

Always but how can you be sure either source is legitimate in the first place? I don't really care either way.

really can never be 100% sure

but first I trust smaller news outlets more than the big ones

the smaller outlets seem to say the same stuff.

and they got interviews with the APF founder, not the bullshit PR spin from their publicist

I am sure his criminal record is on public file no credible news outlet would make up 14 felonies

what would you say for $60k, a signing bonus, a mercedes, and a downpayment on a new house

sorry this video is strange, some guy in a truck splicing news casts into his little talk while driving haha

skip to 1:19

thats who is doing their PR

in addition to APF's founder claiming they want to patrol the streets

APF announced in radio interviews today (through Becky Shay) that APF has no plans for holding Gitmo detainees.....

Yet.....

the city officials and town council voted 100% to accept them........... you do the math

who cares its hardin man, shits dirty and full of methed out indians they need somebody to regulate them!!!! you come to montana and go there and tell me what you think after that until then quit ur bitching BRO!

Dude, yes, it is scary. But, as people have said, it is fucking Montana.

And judging from a lot of the responses it sounds like much of NS is starting to get tired of you constantly talking about conspiracy theories. I mean, if you are going to talk about one, talk about fucking JFK and the grassy knoll. At least that is one everyone can get an opinion on.

nice come back, you are clueless.

The Attorney General of Montana is pretty damn worried about it. wake up buddy

this isnt a conspiracy theory, its just not something you hear while jacking off to Glenn Beck.

So you admit you're too dumb to have an opinion on this matter?

A private police force saying they will (and are in contract negotiations to) have control over American citizens is something you wont care about till you're told to.

How can you not have an opinion on this. You post all over the place in every other political thread so you dont seem to be short on opinions, or slamming anyone who doesnt agree with you. You go off claiming to be a patriot in all your other threads and when it comes down to it you only care about things that directly affect you, not Americans as a whole. This is an American crisis not a Hardin Montana crisis.

In what way is this a conspiracy. Look up the definition of a police state or martial law, its exactly what APF is trying to accomplish.

Every one should care regardless of Montana, its to establish a precedent so it can come to a city near you. In a week or two when fox news covers this youll be back here regurgitating whatever its opinion is. Feel free to think for yourself.

To people who say it's not that big of a deal try to look at it this way. If you were given $1 Billion cash and took $1 million of that and burned it... of course you wouldn't care. You have soo much more money left. But to the average Joe who associates REAL value with money, you would freak the fuck out cuz that's a million fucking dollars.

This situation is similar where the average Joe (seems like the majoroty of posters in this thread) might think hey it's no big deal it's just Montana. But then to people who understand what we have and see REAL value in our rights, our liberties, and our freedoms and would like them to stay intact everywhere; would say that this situation is absurd and they have no business claiming authority over any person or any portion of American soil.

Tyranny in any form is like a bad infection. Leave it unchecked and it will spread throughout.

First of all, I think Glenn Beck is a fucking idiot on most subjects and I have said that here on NS many times.

Second, I didn't personally attack you so why are you starting to call me dumb? Forget to wear a tampon this morning?

I personally don't have an opinion on this because sometimes, to be completely honest, martial law or a police state is something a country needs. Now, I am not in any means saying the United States needs it but once in awhile the countries need something to crop up where these private police forces come in to help.

The other ting is that, like many people have said, the APF has been round since before my dad shipped out to Vietnam in late 1959 doing this sort of shit. It is like Quebec saying they are gonna leave Canada and become their own country, the Native Americans trying to get the Washington Redskins name changed, or some politician coming in saying marijuana, video games, and rap music is causing America's youth to come out with guns and kill people and that marijuana makes you kill yourself cause you think you are invincible like in the weed=bad commercial from Harold and Kumar.

I agree, the APF is a bunch of fucking morons that got some good American servicemen electrocuted in Iraq and they have a reputation in the military for being "a bunch of fucking cowboys that think they can win a war with one m60" (friend of mine in the Marines).

I guess saying conspiracy theory was a bit of a shot and I apologize for that because I have my first exam in my government class today on John Locke and Hobbes and I have been stressing. But, at least judging from articles and how they describe Hardin, Hardin's sheriff department could use some serious help in cleaning the town up some.

That's my opinion.

The APF was founded in California in February 2009. But obviously there have been companies similar to APF (Balckwater now called Xe).

Please read the articles not one journalist has been able to establish any connection with the US gov despite APF claiming that the US gov was their biggest client. This company is brand new and has no established track record or history which happens to be ran buy a 14 time felon who has been guilty of fraud numerous times.

So you really think that its the good will of APF to help out the city of Hardin and there just happens to be an empty prison on a reservation right there? There are people all over this country who need help. What exactly was wrong with Hardin that is in need of APF?

Goups like the APF say they were JUST founded when in fact their leadership have been running groups like this ever since Vietnam. They just get shut down, go someplace else, and start a new one.

There was a "mercenary group" (I say it that way cause if you look at the US Military it is essentially a mercenary army because it is all voluntary with a payment involved) in Iraq that helped the US military and they fucked up hardcore and electrocuted a bunch of US Marines. I imagine many members of that group are now in the APF.

And you never know. The APF could indeed be there to help. You travel up and down the Pacific coast of the US and you will find old, abandoned, military bases/prisons from the WWII era which many have become national parks but the facilities are still there. Yes, there are many places in the states where people need help, but Hardin is a small just barely 4000 person town. Start small and then go big perhaps?

And there it is, the classic "I'm smart because I use Google instead of Fox." Think for yourself, but have the intelligence and the maturity to understand that impressing your half-ass attempts at a well thought out argument on an internet skiing forum is foolish. I say impressing since you take no opinions other than the one you have cemented into your head.

This is not a new event either, use Google some more and you will find articles regarding privatized police forces. But feel free to think for yourself...

It is what the military issues when they need to run the streets for themselves. Essentially what the Americans did as they moved farther and farther into Germany. Set curfews and shat like that.
