American Eagle

I only get paid $5.75.. which is way weak, I guess it's holiday wages? I'll probably be working holidays and get paid one a half. I thought I would start out at $7 though. Oh well.

That blows. I worked at GI Joes for $8 an hour and now Im making $8.25 at Hollister. But Im quitting tomorrow so I can work at Sturts.

He is probably going to make a negative amount of money. HE will probably spend most of his paycheck on AE cloth because he thinks he is getting a good deal or something.

I get like 40 % off jeans and everything I think. The thing is you don't even have to wear american eagle clothing to work there. Your clothing just can't have any logos or brand names showing obviously.

5.75?? where do you live... is that even legal? i thought i made shit for money at 7.25 starting wage at one job and 8.75 at the other...

yah I was pretty suprised too, but I don't care that much, its kind of better than no job. National minumum wage is like 5.25. He said it was like holiday wages?

i don't know about holiday wages... sound weird. around here there is a lot of seasonal hiring for the post office, the teddy bear company (where i work), and a lot of other places looking for extra temporary help. i started at 8.50, and talked my way up to 8.75 for working the 3rd shift. dakin farm which is in my town has a 10.00/hr starting wage for seasonal help in all departments.

I live in a small town and it's not that easy to find jobs. But basically I'm just lazy and only applied to two places. The one that would pay 7.25 was Panera bread and they never called me back.
